Beth Caldwell is the founder and Executive Director of Pittsburgh Professional Women. In 2004 she was working from her home office doing public relations consulting and publishing a resource guide for women and moms. Missing the interactions of the workplace, Beth discovered YAHOO Online Groups and decided to create a group for other solo-professionals. The group began with just 8 women, but within few months grew to several hundred. Local meetings began at Panera Bread locations around Pittsburgh. Soon the group had it's own website and became an official organization with regular monthly meetings. Today there are more than 200 active members. While the YAHOO group is no longer around, you can join us on LinkedIn. Beth has impacted the region with workshops hosted by the organization including Leadership Academy for Women, Publicity Academy, Success Academy, The Women of Integrity Awards, and many professional workshops on all topics surrounding success in life and business.

As Beth's career evolved, she realized her lifelong dream to become a professional writer and speaker. She is the author of ten books and a popular columnist in publications and blogs including The Pittsburgh Business Times, Smart Business Magazine, THRIVE Global and many others.

Her books include Overcoming Imposter Syndrome, Women, Lead!Smart Leadership: Twelve Simple Strategies to Help You Shift from Ineffective Boss to Brilliant Leader, From Frantic to Focused: How to Shift Your Life from Out-of-Control to Streamlined and Successful, SHIFT, INSPIRE, EMPOWER, Inspired Entrepreneurs, The Publicity Action Kit Workbook SHIFT, THE Shift Inspirational Journal and others.

In 2014, Beth became an instructor with the Steve Harvey Success Institute. For four years she taught small business owners and entrepreneurs life and business strategies for success. She taught workshops on the topics of publicity, leadership, productivity, getting paid what you're worth and resilience.

Today Beth continues to write and speak at conferences worldwide, but most enjoys hosting Pittsburgh Professional Women events and working with a small group of entrepreneurs in the Success Circle Coaching Program for Women.

You can connect with Beth on all the social media platforms, but the best way to connect with her is in person at a Pittsburgh Professional Women event.
