Cancellation Policy
Payment for an event, workshop, or networking lunch is a commitment to attend and no refunds will be issued. If you have registered for an event or workshop and find yourself unable to attend, we suggest you send another woman from your team/company/organization in your place.

If you are unable to attend a workshop and would like to gift that registration to a woman in need of a scholarship, call 412-202-6983. Please give a 48 hour notice.


Payment for a Pittsburgh Professional Women Membership is non refundable, but may be transferred to another professional for the duration of your membership. Membership renews automatically on the anniversary date of your joining. The date can be found within your membership profile. You can cancel auto renewals within your membership profile or call 412-202-6983 at least 48 hours before your renewal date. 

Termination of Agreements and Refunds Policy
Payment for an event, workshop, membership, or networking lunch is non refundable. No refunds shall be offered, however if you find yourself unable to attend an event, or utilize your membership, these items may be transferred to another individual.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing English Law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Authorized employees within the company on a need to know basis only use any information collected from individual customers. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers. 

Pittsburgh Professional Women and Beth Caldwell Communications use STRIPE, Eventbrite and AffiniPay payment processors. We trust in these companies to keep your credit card and contact information safe and secure.

Website content is maintained by Wild Apricot, a company that has maintained secure membership sites since 2001. Wild Apricot is a Canadian company that has the highest standards for both website design and content management. 

When you register for a Pittsburgh Professional Women event, registration sheets with your full name are generated through Eventbrite. For in-person events, Pittsburgh Professional Women will download a registration list which includes your full name and, when provided, a company name. Registration lists are kept in our office and on office computers for a period of three years. Registration sheets and lists are not used in public, or on display at events. This information is used to create name tags in order to make networking easier for attendees. These name tags are available at our registration tables, in public. If you do not want a name tag for an event, or do not want your name tag on display, call (412) 202-6983.

Sponsorships
From time to time, Pittsburgh Professional Women partners with an outside sponsor to host an event or workshop. We select partners with the highest integrity and business principles. In some cases, sponsor partners will receive your professional contact information (full name, company name, title company email address). Your payment information and personal contact information is never released.

Confidentiality
Client records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than our sponsors and members, and,  if legally required to do so, to the appropriate authorities.

We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any emails sent by Pittsburgh Professional Women will only be in connection with Pittsburgh Professional Women events or announcements from Beth Caldwell.

Payment
Cash or Personal Checks, all major Credit/Debit Cards, and PayPal are all acceptable methods of payment. Unless other arrangements have been made, our terms are payment in full at time of order.

Returned checks will incur a $45 charge to cover banking fees and administrative costs. In an instance of a second Returned check, we reserve the right to terminate the arrangement and, if agreed to, will insist on future credit transactions only. Consequently, all bookings and/or transactions and agreements entered into will cease with immediate effect until such time as any and all outstanding monies are recovered in full.

Availability
Downloads, recordings and products available from this site are not restricted to location. Redistribution or republication of any part of this site or its content is prohibited including such by framing or other similar or any other means, without the express written consent of Pittsburgh Professional Women.

Sharing and distributing of the free resources and workshops from our resource page is encouraged, but please, keep member only downloads for members only.

Pittsburgh Professional Women does not warrant that the service from this site will be uninterrupted, timely or error free, although it is provided to the best ability. By using this service you thereby indemnify Pittsburgh Professional Women, Beth Caldwell, its employees, agents and affiliates against any loss or damage, in whatever manner, howsoever caused.

Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within this Company on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.
