Even daring leaders struggle with being defensive at times. 

Most of us use armor to stay safe. It’s the way we’ve learned to cope with difficulties and protect ourselves from being hurt or embarrassed.

Our work is to become vulnerable. As leaders we have to do the work ourselves first. Understanding why we armor up is the first step to vulnerability and courage. 

During this presentation Certified Dare to Lead™️ facilitator Kristi Mallory will discuss the types of armor that many leaders use as a subconscious protection mechanism. We’ll discuss how to identify armor and how to disarm it. Learning this skill will help you to empower those who work with you to do the same. When we lay the armor down, the entire organization gains power.
