New Year, New Topic, New Meeting Space. Hello, 2025!

I first met Angela Patete when I attended one of her community presentations. A respected corporate leader, she was speaking on a topic that isn’t often covered, and I was curious to learn more. From the moment she began, I knew this woman was magic.

Over time, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know her better, and now I’m thrilled that you’ll have the chance to meet her too at the first Cocktails and Conversations event of 2025.

Angela is not only a highly respected senior account executive at one of the world’s most innovative tech companies, but she’s also a modern-day shaman.

Intriguing, right?

In my own career, I often felt like I couldn’t fully be myself at work. The real me seemed to make others uncomfortable. The workplace demanded that I navigate outdated beliefs, outperform others, and ensure no one was offended—all at the same time. It was exhausting. But Angela seemed to do it effortlessly. I had to know her secret!

And now, you get to find out, too. Join us on Wednesday, January 29 for a conversation that’s long overdue.

Breaking Through: Thriving Within Patriarchy

Don't miss this empowering evening designed for women who want to succeed as high achievers in traditional workplaces.

Angela will share real-life tips and strategies on how she’s successfully navigated male-dominated workplace dynamics while also inspiring others as a shamanic healer. Let's talk about how to:

  • Speak candidly about the effects of patriarchal systems

  • Reclaim your power

  • Negotiate your way to your full career potential, even in masculine environments

  • Help create lasting change for the next generation

This will be an elevated conversation that inspires personal growth, fosters resilience, and ignites meaningful change. I can’t think of a better way to kick off the new year.

Meet Angela:

Angela Patete, a lifelong Pittsburgher, is a dynamic sales executive with over 30 years of experience delivering innovative solutions and driving meaningful change. As a Senior Account Executive with one of the world’s most innovative technology companies, she partners with K12 school districts across Pennsylvania and West Virginia, empowering educators with cutting-edge tools and support. Named the #1 Account Executive in the United States in 2023, Angela’s hard work and strategic leadership have led to remarkable achievements, including a 65% market share in West Virginia—the only state in the country to reach this milestone—and multiple top-five rankings nationwide.

When she’s not helping educators transform classrooms, Angela embraces her calling as a modern-day shaman. Through her practice, she empowers individuals to release limitations, rediscover their inner strength, and navigate life with authenticity and purpose, inspiring women to break barriers, lead with confidence, and thrive in a world still shaped by patriarchy. She's been a Pittsburgh Professional Women member since 2023.

Your Host:

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Beth Caldwell. I started Pittsburgh Professional Women years ago while running a public relations firm, raising two kids on my own, and longing for like-minded friends.

Today, I’m proud to be an award-winning author and motivational speaker. I’ve written several self-help books for women and travel the world sharing success strategies for over-committed women—helping them manage life and business without feeling exhausted or depleted.

I also run a virtual coaching group for women called Success Circle, which meets every Monday morning. While I love the adventure of traveling, there’s nothing better than being back home here in Pittsburgh. I’m so excited to share this space and this incredible event with you.

Register early. I don't want you to miss this one.
